The CU Winds Ensemble and Symphony present their final concerts of the ’08-’09 concert season this weekend in Bailey Hall!
On Saturday, April 25 at 8:00PM, come and join the CU Wind Ensemble in “Round the World in Eighty Minutes” with internationally acclaimed guest conductor, Timothy Reynish, and CU Winds Ensemble alto saxophone soloist, Wyatt Honse.
Then on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00PM, return to Bailey hall as the CU Wind Symphony, under the direction of Matthew M. Marsit, presents a joint concert with Prof. Chris Kim and the Cornell Chamber Orchestra, featuring a new live film score by composer Thomas Miller to the 1923 silent-film classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Following the concert, hang around and meet composer Thomas Miller from DePaul University in Chicago.
