Cynthia Johnston Turner (2009-2014)

Cynthia Johnston Turner is an active conductor, festival adjudicator, and clinician, in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Canada. Before joining the Cornell faculty in the fall of 2004, she taught at the University of Rochester, where she directed the Wind Symphony and served as Director of Music at Parkside High School, Dundas, Canada. Matthew Marsit (2006-2009)

Matthew Marsit was the Assistant Director of Wind Ensembles at Cornell from 2006-2009. Before joining the faculty of Cornell University, Matthew held conducting posts with the Drexel University Bands, the Chestnut Hill Orchestra, the Bucks County Youth Ensembles and the Performing Arts Institute of Wyoming Seminary.
